Charles H. Barnes, M.D.
Fellowship-trained retinal specialist focusing on diabetic eye disorders, macular degeneration and surgical repair of the retina.
Charles H. Barnes, M.D., earned his bachelor of science degree and graduated cum laude in biology, chemistry and German at Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. He received his doctor of medicine degree in 1988, as well as the History of Medicine Award from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Barnes has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1997.
Dr. Barnes spent his internship at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, from 1988 to 1989. His departmental ophthalmology and visual science residency was carried out at Texas Tech University Health and Science Center in Lubbock, Texas, from 1989 to 1992. His fellowship in retinal medicine and surgery was performed at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, from 1992 to 1993.

Eric W. Bligard, M.D.
Fellowship-trained retinal specialist whose practice includes general ophthalmology, refractive surgery, treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, medical retina, and other ocular disorders.
Eric W. Bligard, M.D., received his medical degree in 1982 from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. He completed an ophthalmology residency and a retinal fellowship at The Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. He has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since January 1987.
Professional affiliations include the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Bligard is married and has two children. He is an ardent tennis player and was ranked #15 in the United States and #1 in the five-state area of Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin for all men over the age of 40 by the United States Tennis Association.
Vacations are mixed with work when he travels to countries such as Kenya and Nicaragua to perform eye surgery on people who would otherwise never get a chance to see a doctor. Dr. Bligard says, "It allows me to use some of my skills for others who are less fortunate while I travel and enjoy an experience unlike any other." Dr. Bligard has also performed cataract surgery with lens implants in Mexico and the People's Republic of China. He was the first surgeon to perform phacoemulsification with foldable lens implants in Kenya, East Africa.

Douglas R. Casady, M.D.
Fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgery specialist focusing on management of deformities and abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal system, the orbit and the adjacent face.
Douglas Casady, M.D., came to Wolfe Eye Clinic from Lions Eye Institute, Albany Medical College, in Albany, New York, where he was an Instructor of Ophthalmology. Prior to working as an instructor, he completed a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the Lions Eye Institute. Dr. Casady spent his residency at the Scott & White Memorial Hospital, Texas A&M University, College of Medicine, Temple, Texas. During his residency he was Chief Resident in 2002 and 2003.
Dr. Casady completed his doctorate of medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He holds a masters of science from Creighton University and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado.
His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. As an instructor of Ophthalmology, Dr. Casady served as a Resident Representative for the Department of Pediatrics at Scott & White Memorial Hospital at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He recently received the Golden Apple award from the residents at the Albany Medical College.

James A. Davison, M.D.
Specializing in cataract and refractive surgery.
James A. Davison, M.D., F.A.C.S., received his medical degree from Mayo Clinic Medical School in 1976. He finished his ophthalmology internship at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California in 1977. He completed an ophthalmology residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and was the chief resident in ophthalmology in 1980. Dr. Davison has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since July 1980.
Certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Davison has written or produced more than 80 scientific articles and videotapes, and coedited a textbook on phacoemulsification and one on the surgical rehabilitation of vision.
Among his many professional accomplishments, Dr. Davison started the vitrectomy surgery service at Wolfe Eye Clinic and received the first prize for surgical innovation and excellence, the Surgicus Golden Hands Award, from Dr. Charles Kelman at Surgicus III, New York, New York, 1986. He also was a member of the editorial board for the Journal of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Fairfax, Virginia, from 1990 to 1995 and was the president of the Mayo Eye Alumni Association in 1996.
Dr. Davison has presented lectures and papers throughout the world at meetings in Canada, France, Monte Carlo, Italy, Japan and Hong Kong. In 1990, he was invited by Dr. Phillipe Crozafon to perform live surgery in Nice, France, and in 1995 by Dr. Lucio Buratto for a videocataract meeting in Milan, Italy.

Stephen P. Fox, M.D.

Stephen P. Fox, M.D., earned his bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He then earned his doctorate of medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Next, he completed an internship at St. Vincent Hospital Health Care Associates in Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Fox is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He and his wife have three adult children.

Todd W. Gothard, M.D.
Fellowship-trained corneal and refractive surgery specialist, and general ophthalmology, including treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and other ocular disorders.
Todd W. Gothard, M.D., is a fellowship-trained specialist in refractive, corneal and cataract surgery. He has been in practice since 1991 and has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1993.
Dr. Gothard completed his undergraduate degree at Gannon University and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following an internship in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, he then completed a one-year fellowship in refractive, corneal and cataract surgery at the Phillips Eye Institute and the University of Minnesota under the direction of Dr. Richard Lindstrom.
He currently specializes in refractive, corneal and cataract surgery and has been performing refractive surgery since 1990. He has been actively involved in clinical trials with the excimer laser and has more than nine years of experience with the excimer laser. He has been a clinical investigator for several clinical trials in the evaluation of the LASIK procedure. He has written and lectured in the education of other surgeons and physicians in the practice of refractive surgery and the use of the excimer laser.

John M. Graether, M.D.
General ophthalmology, specializing in refractive surgery and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, cornea, and other ocular disorders.
John M. Graether, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1957. He completed a rotating internship, ophthalmic residency and research fellowship at the University of Iowa. He joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in April 1962.
Throughout his career, Dr. Graether has been involved in the advancement of surgical techniques, especially in cataract surgery. He was the first in Iowa to perform phacoemulsification of the lens (small incision cataract surgery) in 1972. He also was one of the first surgeons to develop the technique for opening the lens capsule in a continuous linear tear, which is the basis for modern implant surgery. He holds six U.S. patents on medical instruments and devices. He devised the first one-piece lens for placement within the natural lens capsule. The Graether collar-button iris retractor, Graether side-port manipulator, and Graether pupil expander are used throughout the world.
Dr. Graether has taught courses on implant surgery and has authored several papers on ophthalmic subjects in major medical publications. In 1981, he was the surgeon to Iowa's former Governor Robert D. Ray (cataract and lens implant surgery).

Dean M. Harms, M.D.
General ophthalmology, specializing in treatment of glaucoma, cataracts and other ocular disorders.
A native of Alden, Iowa, Dean M. Harms, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1969. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee County Medical Complex in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 1972 to 1975 and was also the chief resident in the department of ophthalmology. Dr. Harms has been with the Ames office since 1975.
Professional affiliations for Dr. Harms include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He also is a past president of the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology. Married with three children, Dr. Harms enjoys traveling, gardening, fishing, glass (lampworking), and bicycling.

Steven C. Johnson, M.D.
Fellowship-trained corneal and refractive surgery subspecialist, also treating general ophthalmology, including treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and other ocular disorders.
Steven C. Johnson, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Diego, where he was chief resident. He also completed a corneal and anterior segment surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut. He presently holds an academic appointment as assistant clinical professor at the University of Iowa School of Medicine.
During the course of his fellowship in the late 1980s, Dr. Johnson worked on one of the first excimer laser prototypes in the United States. He was a principal clinical investigator on the Technolas Excimer Laser and studies of the LASIK and PRK procedure. Dr. Johnson has written a textbook chapter on the excimer laser and astigmatism. Dr. Johnson is board-certified and is a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgeons.

LeAnn J. Larson, M.D.
Comprehensive ophthalmologist, treating general ophthalmology, including treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and other ocular disorders.
LeAnn J. Larson, M.D., graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a degree in chemistry. She completed both her doctor of medicine degree in 1985 and her residency in Ophthalmology in 1989 at Washington University in St. Louis. She has practiced in Madison, Wisconsin, and Cleveland, Ohio, and has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1999.
Her professional affiliations include the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has volunteered with the Combat Blindness Foundation and EyeCare and has performed cataract surgeries in India and El Salvador.
Dr. Larson enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an active but not particularly accomplished tennis player, an avid knitter, and enjoys nearly all kinds of music. She is married and has two sons.

Benjamin L. Mason, M.D.

Benjamin L. Mason, M.D., received his bachelor of sciences degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. He then earned his doctorate of medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed an ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since August 2006.

Jared S. Nielsen, M.D.

Jared S. Nielsen, M.D., received his bachelor of sciences degree from Brigham Young University. He then earned his masters degree in pathology and doctorate of medicine from the Chicago Medical School. Following an internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii, he completed an ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Chicago. Most recently, Dr. Nielsen completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, where he remains a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology. Dr. Nielsen joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2007.
Dr. Nielsen enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys participating in athletics and outdoor activities such as golf and fishing. He and his wife and their two sons reside in Des Moines.

Peter Rhee, M.D.

Peter Rhee, M.D. received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Next he completed an internship at The Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York, followed by an ophthalmology residency at The Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

David D. Saggau, M.D.

David D. Saggau, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1984. An ophthalmology residency was completed at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He served as chief resident and assistant professor at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
In 1990, he completed a retinal fellowship with Cleveland Retina Associates. Since then, Dr. Saggau has been in practice at Wolfe Eye Clinic as a retinal specialist, focusing on diabetic eye disorders, macular degeneration and surgical repair of the retina. He has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1990.
Dr. Saggau decided to become an ophthalmologist during his third year in medical school. "I wanted a surgical practice and wanted to be able to make a significant difference in the life of my patients." When he is not working at Wolfe Eye Clinic, he spends time with his family. He is married and has four children.

Louis J. Scallon, M.D.
Comprehensive ophthalmologist, specializing in refractive surgery and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and other ocular disorders.
An Iowa native, Louis J. Scallon, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 1984. His ophthalmology residency was completed at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee County Medical Complex, with a chief residency in ophthalmology in 1988.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Scallon returned to Iowa to begin practicing in Ames. He is affiliated with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, among other local affiliations.
As a Wolfe Eye Clinic surgeon, Dr. Scallon is certified in PRK and LASIK. These procedures use the excimer laser to correct myopia and astigmatism.
Dr. Scallon also enjoys long-distance running, music and being a scout leader for his children.

Donny W. Suh, M.D.
Fellowship-trained pediatric strabismus specialist, focusing on strabismus surgery for children and adults, and the treatment of childhood eye disorders..
Donny W. Suh, M.D., currently practices pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus in central Iowa, and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Ophthalmology Department, Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship at The Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin, and received his medical doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He received his bachelor of arts in biochemistry from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Suh is a member of Surgical Eye Expedition (SEE) and ORBIS, medical mission programs, and travels to South America, Europe and Asia to provide surgical services and to teach local ophthalmologists.
Dr. Suh is the chairman of the Annual Meeting Program Committee in pediatric ophthalmology for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been published in numerous medical journals and textbooks, and is also involved with teaching the residents in pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine and ophthalmology in Iowa and Nebraska. Dr. Suh is actively involved in research with the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigation Group (PEDIG), which is sponsored by the National Eye Institute.

John R. Trible, M.D.
Fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, specializing in surgery and treatment for cataracts, glaucoma and other ocular disorders.
John R. Trible, M.D., received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Following an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he completed a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He is a glaucoma specialist who previously served on the ophthalmology teaching and research staff at the Eye Institute in the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Trible joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in December 1998.
Dr. Trible is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Glaucoma Society. His research focuses mainly on glaucoma, and he has written and lectured widely on topics within his specialty.

Daniel J. Vos, M.D.

Daniel J. Vos, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1979. His ophthalmology residency was completed at the Medical College of Wisconsin at Milwaukee County Medical Complex. He has been practicing in Ames since 1983.
Dr. Vos chose ophthalmology as his specialty because he wanted to be able to help improve the quality of life for his patients. He is married and has three children. When not at Wolfe Eye Clinic, he enjoys sailing, waterskiing, model railroading, and Bible study with his family. His advice to everyone is, "Spend as much time as you can with your children."

Cory L. Bower, O.D.
Special interests include specialty contact lenses and ocular pathology.
Dr. Cory Bower received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where he also graduated cum laude.
Dr. Bower is an active member of the Iowa Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and the American Optometric Association. During his externship with the Omni Eye Specialists in Baltimore, Maryland, he gained extensive experience in medical management of glaucoma, anterior segment and vitreo-retinal pathology.
Outside of work, Dr. Bower enjoys mountain biking, golf, basketball and fishing.

Dr. Charles Clark earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from St. John�s University in Minnesota.
Dr. Clark is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Iowa Optometric Association. He was awarded an adjunct associate professorship in Optometry from the Indiana University College of Optometry in 1978.
Dr. Clark was a direct commission officer in the United States Army Medical Service Corp until 1979. He attended Officer�s Medical Training at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas before being stationed at Ireland Army hospital in Fort Knox, Kentucky as Assistant Chief of Optometry.
Outside of work, Dr. Clark enjoys forestry, horseback riding, duck and goose hunting and fishing.
John P. Ferrell, O.D.
Special interests include adult and pediatric family eye-care services, treatment and management of ocular disease and prescribing eyewear and contact lenses.
Dr. John Ferrell received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where he graduated cum laude.
Dr. Ferrell is an active member of the Iowa Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
His experiences involve the treatment and management of acute and chronic diseases of the eye and adjacent tissues, including, but not limited to bacterial, viral, or allergic eye problems, removal of foreign bodies and treatment of glaucoma. He also plays an important role in the management of eye diseases such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, he routinely provides soft, rigid, disposable, and daily wear contact lens fittings and consultations.
Outside of work, Dr. Ferrell enjoys spending time with his family, working on home improvement projects, participating in sports and music.

Chad A. Gidel, O.D.

Dr. Chad Gidel received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He completed externships at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Illinois, Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois, and Omega Eye Surgeons in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Gidel is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Iowa Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Society of America. He has extensive experience in contact lens fitting, low vision, pediatric and special populations care as well as treatment for glaucoma and other ocular diseases.

Dr. Kreg Harper received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Next, he completed a mini-fellowship in refractive surgery and corneal transplant surgery at Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Harper is an active member of the Iowa Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Heart of America Contact Lens and Primary Care Society, and Reviewer: Council on Optometric Professional Education (COPE).
Mark G. Holmes, O.D.
Special interests include the treatment of glaucoma and ocular diseases as well as adult and pediatric eye care.
Dr. Holmes received his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Indiana School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Biology from Iowa State University.
Dr. Holmes has extensive optometry experience, including the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, age-related eye pathologies, LASIK follow-up care, diabetic eye disease and contact lens fitting. He has worked in private practice providing family eye care in central Iowa since 1996. Dr. Holmes has experience in treating a full spectrum of patients from pediatric through the geriatric population, including those with mental and physical handicaps and those with low vision needs.
Dr. Holmes is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa. During his collegiate studies, he was also involved in the Indiana University Optometric Student Association and was the student body liaison for the Optical Laboratories Association at Indiana University.
Outside of work, Dr. Holmes enjoys golf, gardening, wood working and fishing.

Mark H. Jeppesen, O.D.
Special interests include ocular pathology, contact lenses and pediatrics.
Dr. Jeppesen received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, with a major in biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Jeppesen is a member of the American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honor society.
Dr. Jeppesen enjoys working with patients who have pathology and has also worked contracts with several nursing homes to help patients with eye disease who were unable to leave the facility to receive care.
Outside of work, Dr. Jeppesen enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

Myra N. Mendoza, O.D.
Special interests include pediatric optometry, including the diagnosis and management of strabismus, amblyopia and various other ocular diseases.
Myra N. Mendoza is originally from Sacramento, California and earned her optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 2005. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley as well, majoring in cell biology. During her training, she completed externships at the Sacramento VA, Portland VA, and Travis Air Force Base.
Dr. Mendoza is a member of the InfantSee Program, Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG), American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.

Thomas R. Munger, O.D.
Dr. Munger, originally from Fremont, Nebraska, graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed a post-doctoral residency in Family Practice Optometry West Tennessee Eye in Memphis. In addition to providing comprehensive vision care, Dr. Munger gained extensive experience in the medical management of diseases of the eye such as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease during his residency. He earned his Bachelor's degree in biology from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska.
His experiences and accomplishments include instructing an Advanced Ophthalmic Practice class for the use and interpretation of Fundus Photography and Ultrasonography and co-instructing for the Southern College of Optometry.
In addition to routine eye care services such as annual examinations, eyeglasses and contact lens fittings; Dr. Munger provides treatment and management of acute and chronic eye diseases such as "red eyes", cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and foreign body removal.
Dr. Munger is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Association of Optometry, the Tennessee Optometric Association and the Nebraska Optometric Association.

Justin M. Schulte, O.D.
Special interests include general eye care, diagnosis and management of ocular disease and contact lenses.
Dr. Schulte received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and chemistry from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
His training includes clinical rotations at Illinois Eye Institute, Chicago, Illinois, Diecke Center for Visual Rehabilitation, Wheaton, Illinois, and Sidney Hillman Health Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Schulte is a member of the American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association and Contact Lens Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Schulte enjoys golf, family and sports.

Christine L. Semler, O.D.
Special interests include diagnosis and management of ocular disease, contact lenses and family eye care.
Dr. Semler received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Prior to her professional degree, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Dr. Semler has been in private practice since 1997. After practicing in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, for several years, she returned to her home state of Iowa and has been serving Story City and Webster City since 2000 as part of a multi-disciplinary health care organization. In July 2004, she joined Wolfe Family Vision Center in Story City.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association, P.E.O. Philanthropic Educational Organization and a Board Member for the Story City GCC. Outside of work, Dr. Semler enjoys volleyball, softball, golf, church choir and spending time with family and friends.

James C. Tesdahl, O.D.
Special interests include ocular disease.
Dr. James Tesdahl received his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Indiana School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. He also attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he graduated cum laude.
Dr. Tesdahl has also been an Optometric Intern at several eye care centers including the Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington, Indiana, where he performed full scope primary care exams with emphasis on dilation detection and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Tesdahl is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and Rotary International.
Outside of work, Dr. Tesdahl enjoys golf, basketball, volleyball and spending time with friends and family.

Marshall K. Walker, O.D.
Special interests include mission work, diagnosing and treating external eye disease, as well as cataract diagnosis and postoperative care.
Dr. Marshall Walker received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He studied undergraduate curriculum at both Northern Michigan University and the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Walker is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Iowa Optometric Association. He is a member of the Traer and Toledo Chambers of Commerce and is an active member of the Toldeo-Tama Kiwanis Club. He is also a member of the Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (V.O.S.H.) and has made seven trips to Haiti delivering eyeglasses and providing eye care.
Outside of work, Dr. Walker enjoys spending leisure time outdoors, participating in sports activities and motorcycle riding.
