Ophthalmic Technician
Wolfe Eye Clinic is looking for experienced Opthalmic Technicians to work in our busy Ames, Cedar Rapids,Fort Dodge and West Des Moines locations. Our clinic has high surgical volume in retina, glaucoma, cataract, pediatric, cornea, occular plastics and refractive subspecialties. Successful applicants will be able to function in a leadership role and perform high-level testing while providing friendly and efficient patient service.

Successful candidates must be patient service oriented, possess great communication skills, be a team player and have attention to detail whilw orking in a fast pace environment.
Responsibilities include assisting Optometrists in the overall clinical schedule, history taking and visions. Perform some basic patient and diagnostic testing. Some teaching patients about contact lenses. Experience preferred, but willing to train to right candidate. Occasional daytime travel may be required.

Candidates must be patient service oriented, possess great communication skills, have attention to detail and be a team player while working in a fast pace envoirnment. Basic computer skills and medical office experience a plus. Some daytime travel may be required.
