Speaking the Language of Our Patients

Patient experience is defined as the sum of all interactions, shaped by an organization's culture, that influence patient perceptions across the continuum of care.

Since 1919, Wolfe Eye Clinic has been committed to creating positive patient experiences through providing a higher standard of eye-care excellence. In our years of treating generations of Iowans, we always enjoy coming across such positive patient (and in this case, family experience) stories like the one below posted by Iowa native Sue Gillman.

Sue describes a situation that many people can relate to: wanting to be present, involved and to serve as a support system in our parent's healthcare decisions and care. It is also common to be skeptical and critical of the care that our loved ones receive. But as you will read, Wolfe Eye Clinic spoke Sue's language as her mother underwent cataract surgery at Wolfe Surgery Center in West Des Moines.

We hope your mother continues to be well, Sue. Thank you for sharing your story. Wolfe Eye Clinic: A Healthcare Performance Chain Done Right
