DR. JAMES C. TESDAHL – WEBSTER CITY OPTOMETRIST

James C. Tesdahl, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry degree, magna cum laude, from the Indiana School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. He earned his bachelor’s degree with majors in biology and business administration from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, graduating cum laude. Dr. Tesdahl is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and Rotary International. He has been seeing patients with Wolfe Family Vision Centers since 1998.

As an experienced comprehensive optometrist, Dr. Tesdahl enjoys helping his patients with a wide range of visual issues from assisting his patients with contact lenses and eyeglasses to caring for and managing ocular pathologies. Dr. Tesdahl’s special interests include caring for ocular infections, removing foreign bodies, managing ocular side effects from medications and diagnosing ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.

Dr. Tesdahl was inspired to become an eye doctor from a local optometrist in his community who was not only an influential leader but a great family man as well. Now, Dr. Tesdahl enjoys being an optometrist, caring for his patients and getting to know them over the years. Outside of work, you might find Dr. Tesdahl staying active outdoors, exercising and volunteer coaching for his children’s youth sports.
