Wolfe Audiology Welcomes Audiologist, Angela Mollenhoff
We are pleased to welcome, Angela Mollenhoff, AuD, CCC-A, to Wolfe Audiology! Dr. Mollenhoff is a licensed Audiologist and hearing aid dispenser in Iowa who serves patients in our Cedar Falls and Marshalltown offices. She has practiced audiology in the Cedar Valley and Marshalltown areas for more than 20 years and is a skilled expert at helping patients with hearing loss and more. Her interest in audiology started at a young age.
"I babysat a hearing-impaired child when I was young," she says. "I learned to operate and check her hearing aids and to communicate with her using sign language. I was hooked!"
Dr. Mollenhoff received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Iowa State University in 1993. She received a Master of Science in Audiology from Central Missouri State and achieved her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the A.T. Still School of Health Sciences in 2013.
As an expert in the assessment and management of hearing and balance disorders, Dr. Mollenhoff administers hearing examinations, hearing aid examinations and hearing aid fittings utilizing calibrated audiometry, tympanometry and real ear measurements. Dr. Mollenhoff’s patients benefit from her expertise and years of experience as a hearing healthcare provider. She is an advocate for early identification and treatment of hearing loss.
"I am committed to encouraging early detection as well as providing professional, quality hearing health care. I’m also passionate in spreading awareness about hearing loss," says Dr. Mollenhoff.
Dr. Mollenhoff is a member of the national organization of audiologists and speech pathologist, ASHA, and a long-time member and board chair of the Iowa Hearing Association
Outside of work, you might find Dr. Mollenhoff on the golf course with her daughter or on a bike trail with her sister. At home, Dr. Mollenhoff is usually in the garden, walking with her dog, Rico, or working on a home project. She enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
