DR. MARK H. JEPPESEN – WAVERLY OPTOMETRIST

Mark H. Jeppesen, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. He has been seeing patients with Wolfe Family Vision Center in Waverly, Iowa since 2003.

Dr. Jeppesen is a member of the American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Eye care impacted Dr. Jeppesen from a young age. Growing up, he has fond memories of his optometrist and the great care he received with his vision, glasses and contacts. Now, as an optometrist himself, he enjoys helping his patients with their vision issues, often incorporating the latest technologies in their ocular management and treatment. Dr. Jeppesen also appreciates the opportunity to get to know his patients and being part of the community. As such, he has coordinated care on many occasions with several nursing homes to help patients with their vision who were unable to leave the facility.

Outside of work and having grown up in Montana, Dr. Jeppesen partakes in many outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and golfing. He also enjoys spending time with his family and watching his children participate in extracurricular activities.
