Logan R. Vincent, MD – Ames Glaucoma Specialist
Logan R. Vincent, MD is a board-certified and fellowship trained glaucoma specialist whose focus includes cataract surgery and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma disease. Dr. Vincent joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2021 and serves patients in Ames, Des Moines and Fort Dodge.
Dr. Vincent is a native of Louisiana and has enjoyed spending much of his life in the South. Dr. Vincent received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, followed by his Doctorate of Medicine from the Louisiana State University Heath Sciences Center School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. After a brief rotation in internal medicine, he completed his ophthalmology residency at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he was awarded Chief Resident from 2019 to 2020. Most recently, Dr. Vincent completed a fellowship in Glaucoma at El Paso Eye Surgeons in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Vincent is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society which is dedicated to the belief that medical doctors will improve care for all. Membership signifies a lasting commitment to professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service, and recognizes a physician’s dedication to the profession and art of healing. Dr. Vincent has authored numerous abstracts and published multiple peer review journal articles, along with presenting many local and regional oral presentations.
In his free time, Dr. Vincent enjoys disc golf, trying new restaurants, and watching classic films domestic and abroad. He is an outdoorsman and especially enjoys hunting and skiing in Colorado.
