George Par, MD
George Par, MD is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgery subspecialist. His practice will focus on the medical and surgical management of the retina, including macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, vein occlusions and the treatment of various other retina-related disorders.

George Par, M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at New York University in New York, New York. He then received his Doctorate of Medicine from the New York University School of Medicine. After his preliminary internal medicine year, he completed an ophthalmology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Most recently, he completed a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center/Illinois Retina Associates in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Par is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has published numerous articles and scientific papers. He has also presented on a variety of topics and enjoys taking part in research studies. Dr. Par and his wife enjoy spending time together outdoors and traveling.
