LeAnn J. Larson, M.D., graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a degree in chemistry. She completed both her doctor of medicine degree and her residency in Ophthalmology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Larson has practiced in Madison, Wisconsin, and Cleveland, Ohio, and has been with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1999.
Her professional eye care affiliations include American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology. She has volunteered with Combat Blindness Foundation, EyeCare international and Surgical Eye Expeditions, on multiple cataract surgery and medical mission trips to India, El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti and Vietnam.
Dr. Larson enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an active but not particularly accomplished tennis player, an avid knitter and enjoys nearly all types of music. She has two wonderful college student sons and an ever loyal animal shelter lab mix.
