Kyle J. Alliman, M.D., received his bachelor of sciences degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Following a transitional residency at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, he completed an ophthalmology residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. Most recently, Dr. Alliman completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship also at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2010.
Dr. Alliman is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association. He has published articles and scientific papers and has presented on a variety of topics. Dr. Alliman is an active volunteer and has taken part in numerous projects with fellow eye doctors including Public Health Education/Prevention Program Director, Cape Coast, Ghana, Community Medicine Project Coordinator, Cebu City, Philippines and volunteers at the Iowa City Free Medical Clinic.
