Caitlyn A. Stakeley- Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Optometrist

Caitlyn A. Stakeley, O.D. received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Stakeley completed a combined residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery at Eye Center of Texas.

Dr. Stakeley joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2022 and provides care to patients in our Hiawatha (Cedar Rapids) location. She provides comprehensive eye exams, along with prescribing eye wear and the fitting of contact lenses for her patients. Dr. Stakeley is also skilled in the treatment and medical management of ocular diseases including cataract, glaucoma, corneal and retinal conditions. She enjoys listening to her patient’s vision goals and helping them achieve the best vision potential.

Dr. Stakeley is originally from North Carolina and met her fiancé while attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Her fiancé is a native of Iowa which led them both to pursue their optometry careers in Eastern Iowa. Dr. Stakeley enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, playing with her dog and being with friends and family during her free time.
