Jeffrey P. Collett, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1997. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa where he also earned an intercollegiate golf scholarship and was named an All-Big Ten Academic Scholar.
Dr. Collett is a native of Ottumwa, Iowa, graduating from Ottumwa High School in 1988. Returning after his education, Dr. Collett practiced with Heartland Eye Care in Ottumwa until merging with Wolfe Eye Clinic in the spring of 2014. He is a member of the American Optometry Association, Iowa Optometric Association, and Heart of America Contact Lens Society. His special interests include general eye care, diagnosis and management of eye disease and contact lenses.
Outside of work, Dr. Collett is an avid University of Iowa Hawkeye sports fan. He enjoys playing golf, weightlifting, and spending time with his family and friends.
