Lee A. Witt, PA, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Fort Hays State University in 2016, followed by two years of post baccalaureate study at Kansas State University. He completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University 2021, graduating with high honors.
Mr. Witt was born and raised in rural Kansas. He was first introduced to eye care by his older brother William, who is a glaucoma surgeon. While completing his education in Kansas, Mr. Witt worked side by side with William.
Mr. Witt joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in October 2021 working with our central Iowa cornea team that includes Drs. Rauen, Turner, and Gillmor. He completed a one-year preceptorship in medical cornea under Dr. Rauen’s supervision. He now serves as an integrated extender in our cornea service. Under the continued supervision and direction of the cornea team, Mr. Witt is focused on corneal disease and anterior segment emergencies, providing enhanced patient experiences and care coordination.
Mr. Witt married his wife Kelley in 2019. Their household includes a rambunctious dog and two cats. They love to travel and most recently visited Alaska for a belated honeymoon, where they enjoyed hiking and kayaking around glaciers. Mr. Witt feels working in eye care is his true calling and is very excited to be a member of the Wolfe Eye Clinic team!
