Connor B. Haugen- Ames Optometrist

Connor B. Haugen, O.D. received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and Psychology from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis at the College of Optometry. Dr. Haugen completed a combined residency in ocular disease and contact lenses at The Ohio State University Havener Eye Institute-Wexner Medical Center.

Dr. Haugen joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2022 and provides care to patients in our Ames, Marshalltown and Sac City communities. He provides routine family eye care services including eye exams, prescribing eyewear and the fitting of contact lenses including scleral lenses. Dr. Haugen is skilled in the treatment and medical management of ocular diseases including cataract, glaucoma, and retinal conditions. He enjoys meeting new patients and helping them reach their vision goals.

Dr. Haugen is originally from Colorado and met his wife in Ames while attending Iowa State University. In his free time, you might find him golfing, working out or playing games. He and his wife enjoy spending time with friends and family and are thankful for the opportunity to serve patients and call Ames, Iowa home.
