DR. JOHN R. TRIBLE – DES MOINES AND MARSHALLTOWN GLAUCOMA AND CATARACT SPECIALIST
John R. Trible, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist that has been seeing patients with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1998. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Following an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Trible completed a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. Prior to joining Wolfe Eye Clinic, Dr. Trible served on the ophthalmology teaching and research staff at the Eye Institute in the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Trible is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. He has contributed greatly to the ophthalmology field, mainly in his subspecialty field of glaucoma. As such, Dr. Trible has published many scientific papers, contributed a chapter to the second edition of The Wills Eye Manual and lectured widely on topics within his specialty.
Dr. Trible enjoys the complex, problem-solving nature of ophthalmology as well as the opportunity to help people and make an impact in his patients’ lives. Outside of work, Dr. Trible spends much of his time with his family.
