DR. PAUL T. CREEDEN - CEDAR FALLS AND WATERLOO OPTOMETRIST

Paul T. Creeden, O.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in general science and a minor in chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree with high honors from Indiana University. During his time at Indiana University he completed an externship in ocular disease at the Omni Eye Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Creeden returned to Iowa in 1988 and initially worked at the Wolfe Eye Clinic in Marshalltown before entering private practice in Cedar Falls. In 1994 Dr. Creeden, along with five other local optometrists, founded The EyeCare Associates group practice in Cedar Falls and Waterloo. He thoroughly enjoyed working within this group for almost 30 years. With the recent merger of The EyeCare Associates into the Wolfe Eye Clinic system in 2023, Dr. Creeden has come full circle and is happy to be working with the Wolfe Eye Clinic once again. Dr. Creeden is skilled in the treatment and management of ocular diseases including cataract, glaucoma, and retinal conditions, as well as providing comprehensive vision care and contact lens services.

Dr. Creeden is originally from Cedar Falls where he attended Northern University High School and met his wife, Julie. Dr. Creeden and Julie are parents to two married children, Thomas and Sophia Creeden, and Margaret and Kyle Denning. They have one grandson, Jacob Denning. Dr. Creeden enjoys playing golf, fishing and lake time at their cabin in northern Minnesota, and following both Iowa and Indiana basketball. He also enjoys an occasional road trip to hear his favorite band, Chicago. He has served on numerous boards over the years including the Sartori Hospital Foundation, Nazareth Lutheran Church Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Christian Crusaders Radio and Internet Ministry. Dr. Creeden and Julie enjoy spending time with friends and family. He is thankful for the opportunity to serve patients in their hometown.
